Antonine was a high school friend, we called him "Tucker" because he adopted that nickname. He was a quiet, laid-back guy who was a friend to many, and always had something funny to say. He graduated from Central High in Bridgeport in 1965, and joined the Army as a medic, as I recall. Again, he was trying to help people. I remember when he died, we all felt the loss, the Principal announced it on the school public address system, and we all prayed for him. Hundreds came to his memorial service. I miss him.
